Hello friends !!
Lately, life for me has been BUSY!! Busy in the sense that I’ve been putting in over 50 hour work weeks ((work hard, play hard mindset)). And though I’ve been spending a lot of time working, I’ve still managed to find time for activities/adventures both solo and with my friends! 💛
With that being said, let me show you some of the things I’ve been up to!!
HOMEMADE BREAD & PASTA
I’m still continuing my homemade pasta and bread journey! I am slowly getting better in my execution! And it feels so wholesome eating foods made from scratch.

BASEBALL!!
Had a lovely girls date with my friends Britta and Abi! Went to El Paso for the night to cheer on the Chihuahuas! A great time ft free shirts, hot dogs, rain, and a lovely sunset!
CROSS STITCHING
Still cross stitching my heart away!! Here’s my latest creation made for my friend Abi!
GRAPE PICKING
Went grape picking at a vineyard for the first time!! Only $1 per pound! It was a very satisfying experience (minus the deadly mosquitoes) & the grapes tasted delectable !!
DUCK RACES
Went to the Deming duck races with my friend Maria and her mom! This year I raced a duck. And even though my duck didn’t win, it was fun trying something new!
CANDLE MAKING
I was able to find a new shop in our downtown area where you can make homemade candles — completely from scratch!! It was fun picking out scents and experimenting a little! It really made me only want to make my candles from now on! Plus, the owner was the sweetest which made the experience all the better!
NATURE!
Britta and I tried to maintain a garden this year, with no luck due to everything dying from the heat. However, we managed to produce the smallest tomato ever — which still felt like a win!
And with the weather being hot (it’s just now cooling down), I ventured to Cloudcroft, NM to hike & found a beloved mushroom!!
SLEEPOVERS!
I’ve been thankful to be making girlfriends this last year! I’ve become good friends with Abi & Alexis! We recently had a girly sleepover & it made my heart happy knowing how blessed I am to have such wonderful people in my life!
That’s my lil whirlwind of an update. Work will always be there for me, but it’s continued to be important for me to find balance outside of work & to live my life to the fullest. Remember to make the most of your time because life is very precious and very fleeting at the same time.
